Did you know that after Joe Biden announced his decision to step down from re-election and endorsed his current Vice President, Kamala Harris, 44,000 black women got on a Zoom call to do what black women do well?

Build community and movement in support of their sisters, brothers, and country.

Amazing.

According to one user on TikTok (@morgandebaun — CEO of Blavity), they actually had to reach out to the “COO of Zoom to take off the Zoom room cap so that everyone could stay on the call.”

Thank you, Zoom!

According to Morgan De Baun, the Zoom call participants lost no time, and “in 90 minutes, this group of ladies raised over a million dollars for Kamala.”

Not to mention, Act Blue saw record-breaking small donor donations to Harris’ campaign at almost $50 million after Kamala Harris launched her campaign.

Not too shabby and pretty chic if you ask me.

America feels steadier, more studied, more reasonable, and more mature as the country braces to square off for the next presidential election.

Outfit #1

I had so much fun with this outfit, and I got a lot of compliments as I was out and about running errands.

What I will say is that wearing boots in the summer can keep you cool.

Also, if you are going to wear this dress, please pair it with shorts (I learned the hard way).

This outfit was surprisingly comfortable.

My new obsession is bodysuits.

They are the perfect option for a clean, tucked-in shirt look and are oddly comfortable.

This denim midi-length skirt is from last fall.

This yellow tie top is so versatile. I love having it in my closet as a summer cardigan option.

I haven’t pulled out my jean shorts all summer.

Perfect to incorporate for hot summer days.

Some say distressed denim is bad. I have always loved it.

I wear it whenever I can find a favorite pair of strategically ripped jeans — I will love them forever.

Yes. I pay for rips in my jeans.

Cardigan (I found one on Poshmark) — I get so many compliments on this cardigan. IRL, the cardigan reads more neon green (It is a super fun terrycloth cardigan). Perfect for spring/summer.

This was a weird little combo of things in my closet.

The top is a thrift find.

Shorts are super fun and Zimmerman-inspired ( under $30)
